The Fondation Stamm continues its work in Burundi through several concrete initiatives supporting children, education, and environmental protection.

  1. Valuable Support for Children in Gitega

This week, we highlight the young children supported by the Thilo Kherer Center in Gitega, established through a partnership between Burundi Kids and the Thilo Kehrer Foundation. This center provides a safe place for learning and personal growth, where children receive essential educational, social, and emotional support for their development.

  1. Environmental Education at the Heart of Our Mission

In Kimirejana, in the former province of Ngozi, the Environmental Education School (ETEE) actively raises students’ awareness about protecting nature. Students take part in tree-planting activities, especially fruit trees, helping to enrich local ecosystems, promote biodiversity, and combat climate change.

Each year, the school organizes an Environmental Day dedicated to protecting our planet and encouraging students to become active defenders of the environment.

  1. International Collaboration for Education

We warmly thank Sabine Koch-Marsch for her one-month visit to Burundi, particularly to the EPCM Kajaga. A former language teacher, she exchanged ideas with local teachers and provided French lessons, strengthening educational skills and cooperation. This mission was carried out in collaboration with Burundi-Kids and SES Allemagne, highlighting the importance of international partnerships in improving education quality.

Through these initiatives, Fondation Stamm continues working toward a better future by investing in children, education, and environmental protection.
