The Fondation Stamm continues its commitment to serving children, vulnerable families, and local communities through various educational, healthcare, and social projects. Here is an overview of recent activities and key moments that reflect this ongoing dedication.

  1. Encouraging Students of ETAB Buhinyuza

Good luck to all students taking their second-term exams, especially future agronomists and veterinarians. ETAB Buhinyuza, a school established by the Stamm Foundation in the northern part of the country, offers two essential sections: agriculture and veterinary medicine.

We wish all candidates success and perseverance. May these exams be a positive step in their journey and contribute to the agricultural and health development of our communities.

  1. Access to Clean Water: Real Progress

On the occasion of World Water Day, it is important to highlight the progress made thanks to the support of partners such as Burundikids e.V. and Welthungerhilfe.

The Stamm Foundation has already built more than 300 water sources over the past four years, allowing many people in the former provinces of Muyinga, Kirundo, Ruyigi, and Ngozi to gain access to clean drinking water.

  1. School Health and Child Protection

Did you know? EPCM Gatumba has an infirmary dedicated to monitoring children's health.

This service provides:

basic healthcare,

early detection of illnesses,

and referrals to specialized medical facilities when necessary.

This initiative greatly reassures parents and improves children's well-being.

  1. Visit to the Musenyi Site: Supporting Refugees

Verena Stamm, legal representative of the Stamm Foundation, accompanied by Delphine Büttner, Program Manager, visited the Musenyi site hosting Congolese refugees.

This site, home to more than 19,000 residents, benefits from the Foundation’s support in the healthcare sector, with assistance from Malteser International.

Teams have identified a growing need for expanded services, especially with the expected arrival of more refugees.

  1. Developing Children's Talents

In the care centers, children do more than review school lessons. They also participate in creative activities.

For example, some children develop their passion for drawing, which helps them:

express their emotions,

build self-confidence,

and enhance their creativity.

  1. Solidarity at Village Amahoro Center in Buringa

A visit from the Women’s Solidarity Group of Kamenge, supervised by the FVS-Groupement de solidarité, took place at the Village Amahoro Center in Buringa.

The group brought gifts for the children and praised the strong collaboration with the center, established by the Stamm Foundation and supported by Burundi-Hilfe e.V..

  1. Holidays and Rest for Children

At the end of the second term, the Stamm Foundation wishes all children, especially those of EPCM Gatumba, happy holidays. This school was developed in partnership with Burundikids e.V..

These holidays are an opportunity for rest, renewal, and preparation for the rest of the school year.

  1. Training and Opportunities for Young People

The EPCM Kajaga laboratory continues to play an important role in youth training.

Students from INUSSAD (University Institute of Health Sciences and Development), particularly those in their second bachelor’s year in pharmacy, complete practical laboratory work there, strengthening their professional skills.

Through these various actions, the Stamm Foundation confirms its mission: improving living conditions, supporting education, strengthening healthcare, and promoting human dignity.

Each project, each visit, and each partnership helps build a more equitable and supportive future.
