Stamm Foundation Commitment: Care, Education, and Training in Service of Communities

The Stamm Foundation continues its commitment to vulnerable populations in Burundi through concrete actions in health, education, and vocational training. This month, we highlight three key initiatives that reflect our mission to improve living conditions.

  1. Care for MPOX Patients in Kayanza

Through a partnership with UNICEF, the Stamm Foundation continues to provide care for patients admitted for MPOX (monkeypox) at the Kayanza care center. To date, over 170 patients have already received medical assistance and appropriate follow-up.

In addition to healthcare, these patients receive hot meals thanks to the support of the World Food Programme (WFP), ensuring better recovery. This program highlights the importance of partnerships in providing holistic care for the most vulnerable individuals.

  1. Capacity Building for Teaching Staff

As part of efforts to improve the performance of our schools, the Stamm Foundation recently organized a training on basic psychological needs for teachers. This training was delivered by Ingo C. Schoenleber as part of the partnership between the Stamm Foundation and Burundikids e.V.

The first schools to benefit from this training are: EPCM Kajaga and ETO Gitega.

These training sessions enable teachers to adopt teaching approaches that are better suited to the needs of students, thereby fostering a more fulfilling learning environment.

  1. Hands-on Learning at the Kimerejana Environmental Education Technical School

The Kimerejana Environmental Education Technical School is committed to providing practical and immersive training for its students in veterinary programs.

Through hands-on exercises with various domestic animals, future veterinarians develop essential skills for their future careers. This approach ensures better preparation for the professional world while offering a rich and practical learning experience.

A Commitment That Bears Fruit

The Stamm Foundation remains true to its mission of supporting vulnerable populations through sustainable projects in health, education, and vocational training. Our collaborations with UNICEF, WFP, and Burundikids e.V. are essential to ensuring a lasting impact on the ground.

We thank our partners and everyone who supports our initiatives. Together, let’s continue building a better future for the communities of Burundi!
