The Fondation Stamm continues to demonstrate its commitment to the well-being of Burundian communities through solidarity and inclusive initiatives. Here are three recent actions that illustrate this commitment.
Support for vulnerable children and their families

In partnership with Orakinderhilfe, the Fondation Stamm has set up a sponsorship project intended for children in the communes of Mukaza, Gihanga, and Ryansoro. This project aims to meet the fundamental needs of the children, particularly by supporting them in their school career. To strengthen the family economy, parents are grouped into associations and receive specific support based on their projects. Recently, the most vulnerable members of these associations in Ryansoro (Gitega province) received essential food aid, demonstrating the Fondation Stamm's commitment to supporting families in difficulty.
Promotion of gender equality and women's empowerment

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Fondation Stamm, in collaboration with Handwerkskammer Koblenz, organized an inspiring meeting highlighting the testimonies of women and young girls who created their own jobs thanks to their sewing skills. The legal representative of the Fondation Stamm emphasized the importance of this day by stating: "March 8th is a milestone in the fight for equality between men and women. In Burundi, mentalities are changing. There are now women who are learning both the sewing trade and electromechanics." This initiative demonstrates the Fondation Stamm's commitment to breaking stereotypes and encouraging women to explore varied fields for their professional integration.
Together, Let's Build a Better Future The Fondation Stamm remains faithful to its mission: improving the living conditions of children, strengthening communities, and promoting equal opportunities for all. Thanks to these projects and strong partnerships, it continues to play a key role in building a more inclusive and prosperous Burundi.
